From Amy's Desk....

The school has been a hive of activity this week as the term draws to a close. It has been a wonderful term of learning and it has been wonderful hearing the staff reflect on how proud they are of their students' achievements – our first full Term 3 since 2019!

Footy Colours Day / AFL Roadshow

The AFL Roadshow visited Croydon Hills on Wednesday and Thursday this week and you couldn’t wipe the smiles off the students' faces. They practised their kicking, handballing and agility skills through a range of activities.

Senior Sustainability Fair

On Tuesday our Senior School students culminated their term of learning relating to sustainability with a Sustainability Fair. For this unit of inquiry senior students were required to choose an area of interest relating to sustainability and create and develop an action that would have a positive impact on the environment. Some examples of the actions included having a nude food day, a fashion swap and a tree planting day.

They showcased their learning and action plans to the Middle School students.

Prep Fairy Tale Day

On Wednesday our Prep students celebrated the end of a Rich Literature unit on Fairy Tales. The students looked magnificent in their costumes – thank you to all the parents for the effort that was put into these. The day finished with a ball in the stadium where the students danced the afternoon away.
