Prep Week 1
It has been an amazing start to the term in Prep this week.
We have returned to school feeling settled and excited to learn! We cannot believe this will be our last term in Prep.
Our wellbeing focus this week saw us discuss our emotions and how we can identify them. We talked about our worries and stress and the ways we can reduce this. One way is to draw your worries on paper, scrunch it up and throw it away.
To help our preps practise this we created a class worry box to throw our worries away. We learnt about Zen Doodling and how this can be an amazing technique to calm ourselves and we sang a fantastic 'I can' chant that helps us remember to keep going when we think we can't.
It has been such a wonderful week and we can't wait to continue our amazing learning!
