Basketball

What a day we had at the Campaspe Basketball competition in Echuca on September 1!

Everyone was a winner! Our Year 7 boys and girls, along with our Intermediate boys and girls all qualified for the LMR round.

There were some amazing basketball skills on display from all teams and it was great to see the coaches on the sidelines getting vocal!

The Year 8 girls team also qualified for the LMR round earlier in the year so we will have 5 teams going to Bendigo on Wednesday 19 October. Good luck to everyone. It will be another great day of basketball.

Campaspe Athletics 

We had 47 students attend the Campaspe Athletics, held in Shepparton for the first time, on Tuesday 6 August and they all had a great day. The weather was kind and our students were absolutely fabulous!

Special mention to the below students who secured the Age Champion award:

13yr Girls - Elise Napier

15yr Girls - Scarlett Southern

15yr Boy - Ky Henson

16yr Girls - Rosy Marsh

This was the first year there was an overall Junior, Intermediate and Senior Age Champion also awarded and we also took out a few of those awards!

Congratulations to all our students who attended the day, your sportsmanship and team spirit along with your pride in representing our school was exemplary.

Good luck to the 25 students who have qualified for the LMR event in Bendigo on Thursday 6 October.
