Principal's Report

We have reached the end of Term Three with all its celebrations and anticipated endings.  Our students have enjoyed the plethora of activities and events, ranging from sporting finals, outdoor education camps, to a vast range of guest speakers, displays and programs.

The recent passing of Queen Elizabeth has reminded us of the significance of service, reliance on faith and the important impact it can have on individuals and groups. Our students have moved in to a period where we start deciding on our student leaders, whether that be School Captains, House Captains of Campus Captains; these roles are an important part of school life. They provide opportunity for a greater level of student voice.  Putting yourself forward for these roles takes courage and commitment. Perhaps this is presented more accurately in Corinthians (16:13) Keep Alert. Stand firm in your faith. Be Courageous. Be Strong. Let all that you do, be done in Love. I thank students as we continue to work through this exciting process of applications, nominations and appointments.

Our Year 12 students will participate in their practice examinations during the first week of the term break and I trust they view these as an opportunity to improve study habits, knowledge base and examination technique. Taking practice examinations seriously will provide good feedback for improvement prior to the actual examinations later in Term Four.

Terms breaks are an opportunity for renewal and to re-energise. I trust that we all take that opportunity and return to Term Four ready for the busyness that it will bring.

God Bless
