X-Country Skiing years 3 and 4

On Tuesday 13th September our students in years 3 and 4 had a wonderful opportunity to undertake X-Country Skiing lessons.  From beginners to advanced, students were divided into 5 groups dependent on their abilities with 5 lovely instructors who provided a one and a half hour lesson plan which saw the groups partake in games while learning new skills.

The snow and weather provided perfect conditions for all to enjoy undertaking exercises in skating, turning, stopping, touring and even some downhill fun on the groomed X-Country trails starting at Windy Corner and ending in The Nordic Bowl.

Joel, Kathryn and Misa along with our fabulous parent helpers, Heath, Belinda, Priscilla, Jake, Michelle and our inspiring instructors, were all very proud of the students positive attitudes, resilience and peer encouragement.
