This one is perfect for Halloween reading!
THE HOUSE ON PLEASANT STREET
By Sofie Laguna
Illustrations by Marc McBride.
This is a beautiful story about HALLOWEEN, FAMILY and FRIENDSHIP!
Alby and his family are new to Pleasant St. Their house is perfect, with a perfect tree, a perfect pool and the perfect pet. Read what happens on the night of Halloween! It's not what you'll expect. You will be in for a surprise! I always enjoy a happy ending a good friendship story! Oops have I said too much! This book will have you sticking around and dawdling a little longer because the illustrations are fascinating and engaging. They are a mix of real life images with paper craft cut-outs. The colours are bold and beautiful. You will want to inspect each page from top to bottom! Look out for the visual expressions! I love it!
Prep B listened eagerly to this new read too and were entertained and engaged as their teacher read on.
