Student Class Placement 2023 

During Term 4, our leadership team, classroom teachers and support staff will start working collaboratively to develop class lists for the 2023 school year. If there is anything that you feel we should know about your child, please provide written comment to this email address: 

brighton.ps@education.vic.gov.au 

Your comments should be focused on the learning needs of your child. Please bear in mind that we cannot guarantee all requests will be accommodated due to the complexity of creating balanced, heterogeneous classes. 

The first step is inviting parents to write to the principal with educational strengths, concerns or needs regarding their child/ren’s class placement for 2023. This information should be communicated by email including the subject line ‘Class Placements 2023’.  We would ask that you send this correspondence via email by Friday 21st October 2022.

Our Student Wellbeing Coordinator, Shae Langford-Jones, will be coordinating the student class placement process this year.
