Book Club - Middles 

This term the grade 3/4’s are participating in a book club reading of ‘Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus’ by Dusti Bowling. As they listen to the text, students take notes about the characters and developing plot. After chapters are read, we discuss and refute dynamics unfolding and try to explain why characters behave in certain ways.  Students in CE are thoroughly enjoying the experience and have offered to share their work in this week's newsletter.
