Eastern Metropolitan Region Athletics Championships

On Thursday 20 October, four of our Rowville Primary School athletes represented Rowville Primary School in the Eastern Metropolitan Region Athletics Championships.

The four boys, Jordan, Ashton, Bronn and Tony competed in the 11 Year Boys 100m relay. They did an amazing job and ended up coming fourth in the Region, narrowly missing out on a bronze medal! Congratulations on a great team effort and a great achievement!

Bronn also competed in the 11 Year Boys triple jump and high jump. In the high jump Bronn jumped more than 10cm above his Personal Best finishing with a huge jump of 1.42m (which is higher than himself) and came first! A HUGE congratulations Bronn on your outstanding achievement, winning gold, becoming the 11 Year Boys Region High Jump Champion and qualifying for the State Athletics Championships in early November.
