Vocabulary

Up levelling Vocabulary is still very much our focus. Thanks to those parents taking the time to talk to their child about their word of the week.

The vocabulary focus has helped us build our vocab walls in our classrooms.

Lego Education

The school has recently purchased some Lego educational kits.  Next term various year groups will be given time during lunch to build some amazing Lego structures  then  use their chrome books to code instructions that will enable their structure to move.

Reading Groups

Kindergarten have been enjoying using the Osmo’s during reading groups - practising sounds and letter recognition.

Year 5 Art

Year 5 students have been very creative during Art lessons recently. Students designed and created a self-portrait using wire. Students used pipe cleaners to create a sculpture showing 'Active Lifestyles'. 

Year 5 hosted an exhibition in the Library space and were able to show the younger classes their artworks and explain how they made them.
