Glen Innes Steer Show
It was another successful and busy weekend for our Cattle Team at the Glen Innes Beef Extravaganza Steer Show. Our Paraders had a great weekend, finishing first, second, fourth and fifth in the first Junior class judging, and third in the following class. The team also took out Reserve Champion in the Junior Section and third and a highly commended in the Open Section. In the Charolais Classic, Calrossy Moonlight placed second paraded by Hayley Hodges and bred by Mr S Beaumont of Dorrigo. Meantime, Calrossy Costa led by Matthia Rudder placed fourth overall in the Shoot Out class. There are more photos on The HUB or Click here
HRIS Debating Success
Congratulations to Calrossy's Stage 3 Debating Teams. The School sent two teams to the HRIS Debating Competition at St Columba Anglican School, Port Macquarie last week. Both teams participated in two debates. The topics were:
1. 'That we don't care enough about climate change!'
2. 'That Community Service. should be part of the curriculum'.
We won 3 out of the 4 debates and came equal first over the whole competition with St Phillips Christian College - Port Stephens and St Columba Anglican School.
A congratulations to the Secondary Debating Team who also won three out of their four debates at the event.
