SAPSASA Girls Cricket - Statewide Knockout Grand Final

On Tuesday of week 8, the SAPSASA Girls Cricket team played in their Statewide Knockout Grand Final. We bowled and fielded first and did a pretty good job. Halfway through our innings of batting, we were quite worried, as we hadn't made half the score that the other team had made. It was a tough game against Stella Maris Parish school, but we pushed through and did the things we needed to do in order to win. In the end, we won 3/87 to 7/85. This meant we became the state champions!

As the Captain and on behalf of the team, I would like to thank Mr Smith and Brayden for all of the hard work and effort you have put in to train us all year, because if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have won the Grand Final.

Also, a big thank you to all of the parents and SSOs for helping out with transport and cheering us on at the sidelines. And well done to all of the girls who played in the team, as we wouldn't have been able to do it without you.
