New England Sings!

Hi Everyone,

I will be doing a practise for New England Sings! students this Friday, not Thursday as usual.

We are starting to get to know the songs we are learning for this exciting event in October. Favourites so far include ‘Stonger” an inspirational song that already sounds amazing and “You’re the Voice”- of course!

The students have been given copies of the words to practise at home and become more familiar-  if not they will have them by the end of week 4, if they have been away. 

Next Wednesday we will be hosting a workshop at our school, with Paul Jarmun, one of the composers for the event we are attending. An accompanist from Armidale will also be coming to work with the students. 

We wish Tom, Eve, Brian and Allegra all the best as they audition for a solo part in one of the songs. A great experience for them.

Last - FYI all 35 students involved will be going to a combined schools rehearsal on Thursday of week 9, travelling by bus, leaving first thing and returning after our lunch.
