Reflections on Faith 

Year 6 RE Results:

As mentioned in the previous newsletter, our Year 6 students participated in the annual RE test which is completed by all year 6 students in the diocese. Our students achieved an average score of 22.4 compared to the diocesan average score of 21.2. From this our students received 1 High Distinction, 10 Distinctions, 6 Credits and 3 Participations.   Congratulations to these individual achievements:

Whole School Mass:

Monday, 15th August, the whole school will be celebrating the Feast of the Assumption. All students will attend Mass in the Church at 12:00pm. We invite families to join us. 

Confirmation: 

Confirmation candidates have been actively preparing for their Sacrament of Confirmation through in class learning. Students also attended a Catechesis session with Father Gleeson after the Stage 3 Mass on Monday celebrating the Feast Day of Mary MacKillop. 

Reminder for Confirmation Candidates: Candidates must attend at least 3 Catechesis sessions with Father Gleeson after Mass on weekends (Saturday or Sunday). 

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on the 3rd of September. Families are also invited to a lunch at the Parish Hall on the 3rd of September.
