Sports Day 2019

2019 Sports Day

What a magnificent event our staff and students put on last Friday. Congratulations must go to the winners, Grallina, who narrowly edged out Pierson,  Malurus and Brian house teams.

LNPS students are to be congratulated for their efforts and attitudes demonstrated throughout the day. It was great to see all of our students trying their hardest in both the individual and team events, supporting and cheering on their own team as well as the competition.

The day would not have been possible without the detailed planning and organisation from our teachers and support staff. We would like to acknowledge the efforts and commitment of the Sports Day committee for taking the time out of their personal lives to make the day happen. The LNPS community thanks you for your dedication and hard work!

A further thank you to all of our Governing Council and fundraising committee members who organised and volunteered at the BBQ and Cake Stall.

A special thank you to the LNPS captains, vice captains and Health Hustle leaders for contributing significant efforts towards all students from Reception to Year 7 in feeling valued and motivated on Sports Day.

To our parents, and the wider school community, a huge thank you for your support and encouragement. We had a dedicated group of parent volunteers who helped at the Cake Stall and BBQ. The amount of support that the community gives to LNPS events is greatly appreciated. Our parents invest a lot of time and interest in our school and it reflects the strength of our school community.

Sports Day Feedback

As part of our school journey to continually improve I am looking for feedback on how we can make our Sports Day even better.

If you have a couple minutes please let me know what was most effective and enjoyable and how we can make the day better. To share your thoughts and opinions please email tyson.grinham428@schools.sa.edu.au
