District Cross Country

On Wednesday 25th May, around 50 students went to Quambee reserve to represent Marlborough Primary School at district cross country. There were 13 people who made it to Divisional and our school came 3rd overall. Everyone did really well and tried their best. Everyone showed great sportsman ship and cheered the others on. A big thank you to Mrs Chisholm for organising the event and to all the parents and teachers who helped. It was a great day!

Visiting Primary School Nurse - Foundation

Ahead of the nurse’s visit it would be helpful to let parents know about the service through the school newsletter. Consider including the following information:

the school to conduct the Prep health assessments and to see other children as requested by teachers (with parents’ consent).

The purpose of the visit is to provide children in their first year of primary school with the opportunity to have a health assessment; to link children, families and school communities to services available in the community; and to provide information and advice that promotes health and wellbeing.

The confidential questionnaire will provide important information about your child’s health so the nurse can make an effective assessment. If your child requires further assessment, such as vision, hearing or speech assessments the nurse will see him or her at school.

  • If you would like your child to participate in the Primary School Nursing Program please indicate this by ticking the YES consent box (page 5), sign and fill out the questionnaire and return the completed student entrant health questionnaire to your child’s school.
  • If you do not wish your child to participate in the Primary School Nurse Program please tick the NO consent box (page 5), sign and return the student entrant health questionnaire to your child’s school.

Parents are invited to contact the visiting primary school nurse if there are any issues they wish to discuss. The contact number is 0459 873 959.

Once completed, can you please return the questionnaires to your child’s school teacher in the sealed envelope by the specified return date. Thank you

School Contributions for 2022

Using the forms sent home  you can choose to pay by Credit Card at the office, BPay (details on the form) or Direct into the bank account.  If you pay via BPay or Direct into bank please return the forms (both pages please showing all contributions that you may choose to pay) to the office or scan and email to marlborough.ps@education.vic.gov.au so we are able to reconcile your payment.  You can also pay via Compass.  You can find this in the Payment Centre on the home page.

Please note that you may see in the payment section at the bottom of the page that you have an unallocated funds credit.  This may be because you had a credit from a cancelled excursion or something similar.  If you would like to use this credit, then you need to process this first by removing the amounts prepopulated in the Curriculum Contributions box and just adding the amount of the credit and then clicking on the process button.  The curriculum contributions will then show the amount less the credit applied, and you can continue with your payment.  If you wish to donate the credit amount, then an alternative option is to process your payment first and then add the credit amount to one of the donation areas and processing this. If you require any assistance, please contact the office 9870 3468 or email marlborough.ps@education.vic.gov.au
