The last week of Term 2 is upon us. With the upcoming school holidays approaching the P&F would like to wish each of you a safe and happy holiday break. Thank you for your support with all the fundraising activities and events that we hosted this term, as always it is much appreciated. Please read on for all your need-to-know information.

Vinnie’s Winter Appeal – May 23rd to June 24th

Vinnie’s Winter Appeal

“The society of St Vincent de Paul is an international voluntary organisation in the Catholic Church, founded in 1833 for the sanctification of its members by personal service of the poor… the Vinnie’s winter appeal aims to provide emergency relief to people at risk and experiencing homelessness,” (wikipedia.org).

As Catholic people, we aim to follow in the footsteps of such saints as ‘St. Vincent De Paul’ was canonised by the Catholic Church for preaching missions to the peasantry and for running charitable events to assist the poor. 

This year, over a 4-week period, we ask for your assistance in the collection of various items that will be donated to assist the homeless and those less fortunate than we are.

Trivia Night

On Saturday 23rd July, please join us at our ADULT’S ONLY trivia night event. This evening is a fun way to socialise with school parents, teachers, and members of the parish. 

Tickets are $200 per table OR $20 for a single ticket. Tickets are available UNTIL MONDAY 18th JULY and sales are capped at 150 tickets, with a first in, first-served basis. 

You can BYO food and beverages (including alcohol) AND lots of gold coins for games/activities.

RAFFLE - St. Fidelis Pizza/Pasta Night 

On Friday 17th June we drew the Pizza/Pasta Night Family Raffle. It was a great success with 14 families taking home some great prizes. Lots of happy children collected their winnings and as usual, the P&F members had a great time putting this together for our St. Fidelis Community.

Term 2 Event Summary

The P&F members want to thank you for all your support with the Term 2 events and activities. With your support, we were able to host Mother’s Day Events, Raffles, Food Order Days, Photo Fundraising Shoots, The Vinnie’s Winter Appeal and Uniform Stalls. 

Whilst each of these events raises profits for St. Fidelis School (minus Vinnie’s Appeal), the focus is to always provide our community (parents, children, and staff) with events/activities that foster positive relationships and are inclusive of everyone’s needs.

We are aware that event dates and details often change, and we thank you for your continued understanding and flexibility with these changes.

In Term Three I will provide you with the profit and loss summary for the listed Term 2 events.
