Year 9

Year 9

Term 2 was very busy in Year 9.

We started with our Career Action Plan Day in Week 2, where students completed their Career Insights Profile to gain valuable information on what may be the best pathway for them as they look forward to beginning their careers.

Soon after this we had NAPLAN which began in Week 3. After being cancelled in 2020, the students were certainly glad to have completed NAPLAN for the last time!

Midway through the term we had Intermediate Sport where our Year 9's teamed up with Year 10's to take out the Division Title in boys’ football, girls netball, boys’ soccer, and had great fun competing in boys’ and girls’ badminton. Students also had a great time competing in boys'  netball and girls' football.

In Week 7 the year level was treated to a magnificent performance of ‘The Hurting Game’, a duologue about two young peoples and their journey, navigating the world of social media and cyberbullying.

Our year nine captains, Carter and Ethan, organised a BBQ lunch in Week 8, to raise for money for our chosen charity ‘Mums Supporting Families in Need’.
