This week in SAKG:

Hi everyone, It’s Dave here from the soon to be demolished kitchen/garden! We’ve been having a great time maintaining the kitchen garden with pruning, weeding and sweeping, as well as doing some mulching around the school. We’ve also really enjoyed harvesting and tasting the beautiful fresh produce. The kids love it in the garden and soon we’ll start potting plants for the temporary new garden, which will definitely keep us busy. I’m excited about working with the school community over the transition period between the old and new buildings, and I’m looking forward to engaging the children in a responsible and caring interaction with the natural world, the school garden and healthy eating habits.
