The Young Naturalist Camps - July Holidays

The Young Naturalist is a NEW PROVIDER of SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES at Sydney Olympic Park.

Workshops:

· align with the Living World curriculum

· provide hands-on scientific investigation experiences

· are particularly suited to Gifted & Talented Students

Students will:

· Discover Australian biodiversity in our Nature & Insect Laboratory

· Investigate our Living World scientifically, using Olympus research microscopes

· Learn to identify key taxonomic groups of Australian Plants, Fungi & Insects

· Discover Nature Photography using our Canon cameras

· Become a Citizen Scientist with iNaturalist Nature Discovery Projects

· Journey into the World of Insects with our worldwide collection

· Meet our live Spiny Leaf insects & Goliath Stick insects

The Young Naturalist workshops will be held from 10.30am to 3.30pm on:

· Tues 12th July: Nature in Focus

· Wed 13th July: Incredible Insects

· Thurs 14th July: Nature Detectives

The Young Naturalist is a registered provider of the NSW Creative Kids Program.

Parents can redeem their Creative Kids Voucher for the full cost of one workshop per child.
