Victorian Equestrian Interschools Series

Congratulations to River and Lotus Rothery for their fantastic achievements at the Victorian Equestrian Interschools Series of show jumping at Werribee Park last Saturday. River and her horse Banjo finished 3rd and 4th and Lotus and her horse Roland finished 4th and 6th. In the championship series, which was over the four rounds, Lotus finished 4th and River took out champion. 

Greater Western Football Championships

Well done to the Sacred Heart Football team who travelled to Ballarat to play in the Greater Western Football Championships last Friday. The boys won a couple of games and lost a couple of games. A big thank you to Adam Garner and Rob Walters for coaching the boys. Thanks also to the parents who supported the event. 

Greater Western Soccer Championships

Well done to the Sacred Heart soccer team who travelled to Ballarat to play in the Greater Western Soccer Championships. Although the boys did not win a match, they were champions in the way they conducted themselves and the fun they had on the day. At no stage did they give up, so I was immensely proud of them. Thanks to Charlie Grist for his assistance on the day.

Could all students please return the school football jumpers, netball dresses and soccer tops a.s.a.p.

Swimming Program

A big thankyou to the teachers and parents involved in our swimming program for Years 1-4. Also a big thankyou to ‘Heathers Swim School’ and the instructors for all the hard work they have put into the swimming program to make it such a success.

Sports Afternoon

This Thursday 23rd June (last day of school for students) our Year 5/6 students will be involved in a sports afternoon. Children will need to wear their sports uniform and bring along the appropriate gear for the sport they have chosen e.g. football - football boots. 

The sports the children will be involved in are: football, netball, basketball, soccer and mixed games.

Friday 29th July - Colac Division Girls Football

Tuesday 9th August - Melbourne Netball (Boys and Girls teams)

Friday 19th August - Colac Division Badminton Tournament

Monday 12th September - Colac Division Hot Shots Tennis Tournament

Wednesday 14th September - Colac Division Basketball
