Strength and Conditioning

Bodyweight programs can be incorporated into your training regime to maintain your general strength, these can all be done in a small space and with minimal equipment. If you have banding, dumbbells, swiss ball etc. you can add more load.

 

The 5&5 program is 5 exercises in 5 minutes using a Tabata 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off method.  Complete each exercise once, then repeat the circuit.

 

The program focuses on key fundamental movements tasks (Squat, Lunge, Push, Pull, Brace, Rotate) and can be completed in a small space with limited equipment.  The program can be completed every day before breakfast or before you start your school activities.

 

Each week we will introduce a variation of the movement, increasing the complexity of the exercise.
