Working Bees at GEKA Orrong Rd kindergarten have operated successfully over a number of years because of the time generously donated by our family volunteers.  It’s a great opportunity for families and children to meet in a different social setting, as well as contribue to overall improvements and care of the kindergarten.  The GEKA Orrong Road team would like to thank a for helping our all of the families for supporting the kindergarten environment in this way, in which your children learn, play and grow.

“A big thank you to everyone who came along and contributed their time at the working bees held in Term 1 and Term 4 this year. Not only were we able to get through a general clean up and tidy of the indoor and outdoor play areas, we were also able to put together new equipment for the children and update artwork displays.  Many hands make light work, and as always, the working bees provided an opportunity for families to meet and get to know each other. Thank you once again for supporting the kindergarten and helping to maintain a pleasant and safe space for our children to enjoy.”
