Step Into Prep 2021

Hello, 2022 Prep Families...

A new video ‘Step into Prep - Fine Motor with Playdoh’ will be posted very soon so keep your eyes out for an email. We would love to see you all doing some fine motor practise at home. You can post a photo of your child practising their fine motor skills with Playdoh to our school Facebook page.

Hot Tips - 

1. What to Wear!
   School Uniforms can be purchased from Beleza Pakenham whenever you’re ready! Look out for their sales and remember that your child may grow in these next few months!  Buying a hat, and having your child practise wearing this is a good idea.
   Booklists/Fees will be distributed by the school later this year.
2. Footwear
   Comfortable, closed-in toe shoes are required at Pakenham Springs.  We are happy for students to wear runners with their uniform, or simple black velcro/lace up school shoes.  We would prefer runners to be in a neutral colour.  Please consider how confident your child is with tying shoe laces.  We really do recommend velcro at the beginning of their school journey, as this builds confidence and independence if shoe lace tying is a bit too challenging to begin with.
3. Library Bag
   At the beginning of the 2022 Prep year all Prep students will receive a goodie bag filled with a variety of books to keep at home. This bag can then be used as your child’s library bag.
