Year 5 Market Day

As part of the inquiry unit 'Influencing Others', Year 5 students have been busily designing and making products over the last few weeks to sell to the student community at a market stall on Thursday 2nd December

All proceeds from this market will go towards supporting a family from Kingswood that lost numerous possessions in a house fire earlier this year.

The products that the students make will be sold for $1 or $2 each, with a huge variety of products including digital animations, candles, jewellery, tie-dyed socks, balloon art, and more!

To minimise the handling of money, teachers will collect this from students on the morning of the event and students will receive ‘Cash for a Cause’ tokens to use at the stalls. Each token will be to the value of $1.

Each class will be given a short time to browse and purchase products at the Market. Over the coming days you might see some of the advertising students have been working on to promote their products around the school!

On Wednesday 1st December, with the assistance and generous donation from the Parent Association, we will also be selling icy poles to students during lunchtime for $1 each. We thank you for your generous participation to 'connect with our community', and are super excited for this event!
