Message from the Principal Team

Principals' Update

We have had a wonderful Week 7 and it was lovely to see some new faces. We welcomed our 2022 Foundation children on Monday and Tuesday. It was lovely to have them visit their classes and meet the 2022 Foundation team. They will be coming back for another visit on Thursday 25th November.

Our Bike Education has been excellent with the children learning lots of new skills and Year 5/6 really enjoyed the Big Bike Ride today. I would like to thank all those involved in organising it.

Don’t forget that tomorrow (Friday 19th November) is our Colour Fun Run at 2pm. Please ensure that your child is wearing old clothes that they don’t mind having coloured. As we have raised an outstanding $14,700, I will also be wearing some old clothes to assembly too! Well done to everyone in their fantastic fundraising efforts.

School Review Parent Feedback Session:

We sent out a survey this week so that you can contribute your thoughts about our school.   We would love to have as many of our families complete the survey as possible. The survey can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/C1N6LGjvBZPiqgFJ6

We would like to invite parents to come together and to share your opinions about CNPS which will be conducted by our School Review consultant Leslie Tulloch.  This Parent Feedback Session will take place on Tuesday 30th November at 2.30pm – 3.30pm. We would love to have representation from each class level at this meeting.  Please contact the school if you wish to attend.

Our Outdoor Learning Space

Work has been completed to put the shade sail up above the outdoor learning space. We have already seen this space being used by classes. What a wonderful outdoor space for the children to be able to work in.

Swimming

Please remember that swimming will start on Monday for all classes from Foundation to Year 4 for the next 2 weeks (except for Thursdays). Year 5/6 will have their Open Water Learning Day on Thursday 2nd December.

Year 5/6 Camp

Our 5/6 teachers have been working exceptionally hard to ensure that the 5/6 camp can go ahead this year and I know that everyone is excited to be attending. They will be leaving on Monday at 9.30am and will return on Wednesday before school finishes. Thanks to all those who organised it and to the additional staff who have offered to attend also.

Thanking you all for your continued support,

Eoghan O’Muirgheasa, Erin Brown & Jane Bilby
