Free Dress Day 5th November To Support Children’s Cancer Research

Hi I'm Tahlia from 5/6B. This year, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight

  kids' cancer!

Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die each week.  Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.  I am willing to go further than ever before to support the Great Cycle Challenge, so far I have ridden 85km.

On Friday the 5th of November there will be a school Free Dress Day. We can celebrate all students being back at school together and dedicate this day to support those who can’t return to school in person because they are fighting cancer.

It would be amazing if you could support this challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page: https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/TahliaRollings  or alternatively bring a gold coin donation on the day.

Thanks so much.  Together, we can save little lives.
