Photography Film Festival

Year 11 Festival Premiere

Students in the Year 11 Photography class were invited to participate in the annual Film Festival Film By The Pasture as a celebration of student achievement in visual literacy. As a part of this project, students were asked to create a film during the lockdown period, based on a topic of their choice. Cecil Hills High School worked with local schools in the local Cowpasture Network to promote the making of a short film. The festival aims to showcase the talents of our students, but also to raise the profile of public education across the state.

From the Year 11 Photography Class, Tahlia Cluff, Ian Cheung, Lachlan Sims and Ti’anna Nualsaengsy were selected as finalists for the final film festival premiere. All students who participated received a Certificate of Participation for their involvement in the Film By Festival for 2021.

We are incredibly proud of the persistence and dedication our students have shown in the making of their own short films.
