KIOSC
Year 9 & 10 Science of Crime
The most significant event that occurred last week, other than the return to school of all students and the running of a race that stops the nation, was students were allowed on campus at KIOSC.
Students in year 9 and 10 undertaking Science of Crime were able to put their forensics skills into practise by solving a real-life fake murder at KIOSC.
Students used fingerprint analysis, blood splatter patterns, blood grouping, DNA analysis along with several other forensic techniques to solve a ‘murder’.
It was great for the students to get hands on experience of the techniques that they have spent time learning about remotely. A special shout-out to the student who completed their eye makeup with do not cross, crime scene!
