FA - Miss Zoe

Last week we started our Christmas activities. Here is some of our amazing writing from two FA students. They designed and wrote about their gingerbread houses. They enjoyed checking out some incredible gingerbread houses on google images for inspiration!

In Maths we have been learning about surveys, tallys, bar and picture graphs. Children had to think of their own survey questions and ask 10 people in their class, while tallying the answers. Emerson is ready to go here and survey her class members, to find out if Christmas trees or Christmas Eve is more popular! Check out Seesaw for the video of this activity in action.

In Foundation B we have really been enjoying our class novel The Twits, by Roald Dahl. Here are two student responses to their favourite parts in the story so far. Here they have used their imagination to picture what happened as they listened to the story.

FC - Miss Lou and Mrs Clancy

An amazing weekend recount focusing on neat handwriting, sounding out, sentence structure using basic punctuation and fancy words.

Students are still busy learning their magic 200 words with both reading and spelling. This is a lovely example of a completed spelling test on Aqua and Lime words.
