Visual Art

In our Art Room

With the return of on-site learning, it’s been wonderful to see students flexing their creative muscles and exploring art elements again. It’s amazing to see what they’ve done in the past few weeks. They have certainly been ready to create!

Here’s what some of them have to say about Visual Art this year:

“My favourite project this year in Art is the clay pinch pots. I really enjoyed it because when you make it your hands get messy and it’s lots of fun!” - Angelina, Level 4

“I loved making the Pete Cromer Art collage this year, because I really enjoy painting and putting together smaller pieces of paper creatively to create something bigger”  - Belinda, Level 4

“I enjoyed painting and printmaking this year. It was cool to create a design and print it onto paper with paint” – Ben, Level 4

“My favourite art this years was the pinch pots because that was the first time I’ve ever touched clay” - Evelyn Level 1

“My favourite artwork this year was the pinch pots. I liked it because it felt good to squish the clay. I painted mine green” Cohen, Level 1

“My favourite art that we did this year was the rainbow wall. It’s made the art room so colourful and pretty and it’s made out of love and care” Charlotte, level 1

“My favourite art project was the pinch pots because I liked squashing the clay and making it into a shape. I shaped mine into an apple. I painted it red and green.” Jacob, Level 1
