Feast of the Sacred Heart

 Dear Families/Carers,

As our holidays are coming to an end and Term 3 is around the corner commencing on Monday 10th July I would like to talk about our Feast of The Sacred Heart initiative that is organised each year in accordance with this very special Feast Day. As you may remember our Feast of The Sacred Heart is linked very close with the act of giving, showing love and compassion to all those in need. This term we will be concluding the term with a Liturgy on the Feast of the Sacred Heart and be asking for donations from families to help us create hampers for all those families who are in much need of food and support especially during these upcoming cold and wintery months. I would like to ask for your generosity in supporting this worthy cause throughout this term. Attached is a poster outlining a year level allocation of goods and how families can generously support this much needed cause. Could I please ask for all donations to be dropped off through classrooms and our SRC representatives will be working with me to collect and create the hampers. Looking forward to partnering with you in supporting our school's actions of reaching out to those less fortunate and working with St Vincent de Paul. Thank you very much.

God Bless

The focus of the Feast of the Sacred Heart is caring and giving to others.

Could I please ask every family in our school to support this act of giving by donating items that are allocated to your child’s class. The donations collected will be packed into hampers and be given to families in need.

We will be working closely with St Vincent de Paul Society to distribute these hampers to families in need.

PLEASE DROP OFF ALL DONATIONS/GOODS TO YOUR CHILD’S CLASSROOM
