Focus on the Good - Class of the Week
Respectful Relationships
Our Respectful Relationships program will continue to run this term on Tuesday afternoons in each classroom. It is a Victorian Government program that supports schools to promote and model respect, positive attitudes, and behaviours and how to have respectful, positive relationships with others.
To celebrate the great work that Lalor East Primary School is doing and continuing to do, DPV Health is working with us to spread the message about Respectful Relationships and why it is important. Over the coming terms, we are going to be sharing the key messages of Respectful Relationships with the school community through banners, ground decals, and stickers. You may have noticed our first banner saying ‘RESPECT, INCLUDE, ACCEPT' has been added to onour McKimmies Road fence.
This message is about accepting the things that make us all unique and special. It is about treating others equally and with respect. It is about including others and making them feel like they belong.
