Foundation to Year 2 News 

1/2 A and B applied their fraction knowledge last week into evenly dividing a slice of fairy bread into equal parts. 

A variety of fractions were made in a range of shapes, quarters, halves, and thirds before the WHOLE slice being polished off by the chef! YUM!

The Preps are nearly three quarters of the way through their first year of school and are showing such huge growth in their capacity to work collaboratively in pairs, small groups and as a whole class. 

A big component of the first year of school is learning how to work and play effectively with others, and this year’s preps are showing that they are a bright and cooperative bunch!
