Kildare Library

Our Year 7 students are so lucky to be able to use the amazing Kildare Library as a place for information gathering and refuge. If you haven’t checked out the shelves lately, do yourself a favour, as we are bringing out new books all the time and creating new and topical displays. 

This week you may have noticed a wonderful display of our SPORT genre books. There you’ll find a collection of both fiction and non-fiction texts surrounding all kinds of sports, including AFL, soccer, surfing, netball and basketball. 

We know how much our younger students love making connections to books that are relevant to their own lives and so many of our Year 7s play organised sports so we hope they enjoy the display. 

We need your help!

As always, we rely on our students across both campuses to provide suggestions about which books they’d like to see on our shelves. Please let your friendly librarians know if there is a book or series you would like us to add to the collections and we will do our very best to oblige. 

Literacy Week 

Don’t forget, Literacy Week is fast approaching as we are now officially in the month of August. Stay tuned for the activity program to come soon!
