Hitting the airwaves

Our Year 11 and 12 VCAL/VM students are thrilled to launch their very own podcast series!

The first episode in the three-part series, which focuses on gambling harm, was released on EdgeFM this week.

Subsequent episodes, about vaping and scamming, will be released over the coming weeks.

The podcast series was developed as part of a pilot program, in collaboration with Headspace and Anglicare, in order to help raise awareness about these issues and the negative impacts they are having on our young people today.

This student-led project, empowered our students to interview a number of medical experts and people who have suffered harm, not only to produce the podcast series, but also a complimentary information resource to further educate our school and broader community.

We are incredibly proud of the students who have shown dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism in developing and implementing this project.
