Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

Trust you have had a good week. Last Friday our seniors had three great games of sport against Belvedere PS with a win in the footy and a couple of great games in the Netball and T-Ball. Mrs Ary said it was the best our T-Ballers have ever played! Well done! Thanks to the parents who are assisting these teams, either through coaching or cheering them along and to Miss Marks' son, Christian, who umpired the football. Today our teams play Mahogany Rise PS for their weekly sport and I wish them all the best for this!

Eucharistic Masses continue this weekend for First Eucharist. Please keep Sebastian M, Macey W and Amelia C in your prayers as they continue their preparation.

Last Friday our Foundation students celebrated 100 Days of School with their teachers. Their teachers said they all had a great day and were very ready for the last part of the year now they have had 100 days of learning.

Miss O'Donnell flew in from her educational trip to Rome and Assisi this morning and will return to school next Monday. I'm sure her students and the staff can't wait to begin learning from her.

From a safety perspective,  some children  leaving the school grounds before school to greet their friends at the Norm Cathie car park.  We have spoken to all the grades about the safety of  staying in the school grounds before school today and ask that families talk about the children keeping themselves safe by staying within the school yard before school.

On Tuesday we celebrated a Liturgy for St Mary of the Cross' Feast Day. Thank you to those who could attend and Mrs Winduss for leading this. The weekend Masses of the 12th and 13th of August will be times when our students intending to be Confirmed in the faith are able to continue their enrolment for this.

God Bless
