Emergency Responses
In light of the recent threats to others schools, we would like to reassure parents that the School has an Emergency Management Plan in place. The plan covers a number of emergency responses. In case of an evacuation due to an imminent threat, the School has SMS facilities as well as Tiqbiz communication in place.
The School recently sent out a TEST message to ensure the SMS facility is functioning correctly. Unfortunately, the School signature was dropped off the original message. The message has been resent with the signature. If you did not receive this message, please contact the School to verify that the details we have for you are correct.
We encourage all parents to use the Tiqbiz app, which can be used on phones, computers and tablets, as this will be our number one method of communication should the School lose access to power.
School Traffic
The School has received reports of cars parking on footpaths and along road areas that have obstructed traffic causing unnecessary danger. We would ask all our parents to be mindful of the neigbours around the school and to not park in areas that aren't designed for this.
We understand that during the first week of school it takes a while for everyone to find their routine. We strongly encourage families who only have students in Middle and Senior School to delay picking up their children until 3.40pm. This will allows families of younger children to pick up and leave our carpark before that time.
Uniform Survey
As we’re heading into the final stage of our uniform transition, it is vital that we get feedback from our School Community. To aid us with this, we have put together a short survey, which should take no more than 2 minutes to complete. Your feedback helps us to make any necessary adjustments and also helps us to provide feedback to our supplier. This will allow us to hear your voice, where you may not previously have said anything.

We value your feedback and your participation in this short survey.
The closing date for the survey will be Thursday, February 18.

If you have not yet returned these, please do so WITHOUT DELAY or your child may be excluded from participating in upcoming excursions. If you are a new family to the school and do not appear to have received a form for your child, please contact Reception and someone will organise for one to be given to you.
Immunisations
All students in Year 7 will receive information in coming weeks regarding upcoming immunisations. Please note that unlike previous years, only year 7 students will be offered immunisations through the council, as all other students should be up to date. At the request of the Council, students are required to be in their Sports Uniform whilst undergoing immunisations.
Immunisations will take place as follows for all Year 7s:
- 4th March
- 3rd June
- 21st October
Parents are reminded that immunisations are voluntary and we encourage you to seek the advice or ask questions of your GP before having your children immunised.
