Recently, 16 students from Stage 3 competed in the da Vinci Decathlon at Knox Grammar School. The da Vinci Decathlon is an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of students in 10 disciplines: English, mathematics, code breaking, art and poetry, science, ideation, creative producers, cartography, engineering and legacy.
Our students had a wonderful day competing and should be proud of their efforts!
Last week, Kindergarten celebrated the milestone, 100 Days of Kindergarten! To commemorate this special occasion, students dressed up as 100-year-olds and participated in a variety of activities relating to the triple-digit number. Students created self-portraits, made necklaces using 100 beads and enjoyed 100s and 1000s fairy bread. Congratulations, Kindergarten! You certainly are 100 days smarter!
