Physical Education

 Lacrosse

Students in years 3 and 4 have been lucky enough to have Mike Cahill and Marty Hyde from Melbourne Lacrosse Club come out and teach them some lacrosse game skills each week in our PE lessons. This will continue until the end of Week 5.

Also our year 5/6 Lacrosse sport team is also benefiting from the Lacrosse club with some extra coaching tips for the students as they go into their first round of competition this Friday.

House Swim Carnival

All students in years 4-6 will travel by bus with their classroom teachers to GESAC on Monday 27 February to participate in the House Swim Carnival. Students will need a swim cap, bathers, towel, goggles, a snack and water bottle. (Sunscreen and Hat)

Note: Sunscreen will be available at the pool side, however, it is the student's responsibility to be sun smart and bring their own sunscreen to apply regularly. A rash vest or T- Shirt as well as a HAT should be worn at all times around the pool when the student is not swimming.

Students will be back at school for lunch time. If students could wear their bathers underneath their clothes that will make it a lot easier when they arrive at the pool as they can get ready for their swim in their designated House areas poolside. All students can come dressed in their House colours for the day.

Additional event details:

Students are required to be at school at 8.30am for a prompt 8.45am departure. They will travel via bus to GESAC and return via bus by 12.30pm to BNPS.

Parents are welcome to attend on the day to support their child.
