AUSTRALIAN FILM, TELEVISION, RADIO SCHOOL (AFRAS)

Videomaking Intensive: Shoot, Edit, Publish (20 - 24 March, in-person): is a week-long, 9.30am – 5.00pm class, held on campus at AFTRS. This five-day intensive will have you up to speed on camera operation, videomaking principles, editing software, and publishing best-practice. This class is for anyone, including the beginner, as the small, hands-on class size allows the content to be tailored to your experience. Early Bird Course Price - $1,620

Podcasting for your Brand (22 and 29 March, in-person or 23 March and 27 April, online): identify your brand’s audience and podcast niche, and learn about the podcast production process, stage-by-stage with this course delivered over six online evening sessions or two days onsite. Presentation Skills (22 February, online): in just half a day, learn to deliver exceptional presentations and connect with your audience– whether they're online or in-person. Early Bird Course Price - $495

Brief to Script to Great Video (6 and 7 March, online or 22 and 23 March, in-person) in this course delivered over two days, you will improve your script and brief writing skills for corporate videos, digital marketing, social, or client/customer information videos. Uni Step-Up Online applications are now open

Uni Step-Up is an opportunity for Year 11 students from regional, rural and remote locations to get a head start with their university studies by studying two fully subsidised first-year units in:

•    Nursing, midwifery and paramedicine

•    Sports and exercise science

•    Business 

Students who successfully complete two subjects may be eligible to receive unconditional direct entry to a mapped ACU Course.

Key dates:

Uni Step-Up Online is delivered fully online, one night per week over the following dates: 

•    Semester 1 – 13 March 2023 

•    Semester 2 – 14 August 2023

Applications close on 22 February 2023, so students are encouraged to apply now.

New Courses at ACU commencing this year, including the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Arts (Western Civilisation)/Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Human Rights and a Bachelor of Arts/Master of Teaching (Secondary).
