Pastoral Care and Wellbeing
Welcome to the 2023 school year! It has been wonderful to have learners and staff back onsite together to commence the new school year.
The College looks at the start of each year through the lens of building, re-connecting and developing relationships. Some are new and many already existed.
Our Learning Mentor program is one of the many ways our learners are able to develop these relationships within their year level, across other year levels and with their Mentor. Your Learning Mentor (LM) is the first port of call should you require assistance, support or information. If you would like to provide additional information regarding your student, please contact the LM.
Our College days begin with LM groups, as we place great value on this time. The only exception to this is when there are House Assemblies.
Uniform
As with any relationship, we work together to support our learners to be the best person they can be. Belonging to a community increases student wellbeing and working together we ask for your support in ensuring your learners have the full school uniform.
Given that we live in a country that has a high rate of skin cancer, hats are required when our learners are not in the classroom.
Please also remember that:
- Sports uniform is only to be worn on specified days where your student has practical PE classes or Drama.
- Technology and Science classes require leather shoes for occupational health and safety, regardless of whether you are in sports uniform or not.
Our uniform items can be accessed from Hip Pocket, Echuca.
Mobile Phone Procedure
Mobile phones are not permitted to be utilised onsite from the beginning of the day until the final bell. If you need to make contact with your child/children, please do so through Student Services.
College photos
Our College photos will be held on Monday and full summer College uniform needs to be worn. If your child/children would normally wear their sports uniform on this day they will need to bring their sports uniform in their bag and wear their summer uniform.
