Brigid House Celebration Day

On Tuesday Brigid House staff and students gathered to celebrate their House and Patron St Brigid - recognising the enormous impact St Brigid made on the lives of many, including us here today.

She was a woman who gave witness to her faith by her welcome, generosity and care for all with whom she came in contact. Our House continues that tradition today.  St Joseph’s College is a place of welcome, hospitality and inclusivity where the light of faith burns brightly and our students are helped to understand what it means to be people of faith.

The celebration day involved a Liturgy, shared lunch and activities. In one particular activity, all students were asked to set a goal for the year around our College theme of Be Brave which they will have returned to them at the end of the year.
