Easter Buddies

We have Reception class buddies this year in LA6, 7 and 8. During the last two weeks of Term 1, we visited our Reception buddies to support their reading, other learning and to develop our community of care and building relationships with others - Buddy Learning time will continue into Term 2. 

Following a discussion about putting others before ourselves, the children decided that it was better to give our Reception buddies a reward even if it meant that we didn't get one - they understood that our reward was seeing the happy smiling faces!

Just before Easter, we gathered on the new outside learning area to give them an Easter gift bag.

LA16/17 made vehicles to transport eggs.
