Vision Portraits

Bookings are now open for our Vision Portraits family photo day on Sunday, May 26, 9am-4pm.

For $15 (plus $1 booking fee) you will receive an outdoor photography session, one photo of your choice and frame. More photos are available for purchase but there is no obligation to buy. If the weather is bad, photos will be taken inside. Photos can be taken of the whole family or just the kids. Even family pets can be included. Family and friends from outside the school are also welcome to make their own bookings. So spread the word.

To book, go to www.visionportraits.com.au/family and use the password fundraise2019. Select Marlborough Primary School from the list and make your booking and payment online. Bookings and payments will not be taken through the school office.

Get in quick because the best times always go fast. Bookings close strictly on the Thursday before the event.

Money raised through the $15 booking goes to our school and has been a very successful fundraiser in the past.

2019 so far.....

The MPS Parents Association has had a great start to the year.  It was great to see so many students participating in the games at the Family Fun Night and so many families attending the Car Boot Sale.  Thanks to those parents and carers who helped out on stalls on the days.  A BIG thank-you to the team of organisers who made the Car Boot Sale happen.  An event like this takes a significant amount of work to plan and organise not to mention the early start on the day.  Thanks also to the teaching staff for organising the games at the family fun night.  The BBQ at the Family Fun Night raised more than previous years with a profit just over $600 and the Car Boot Sale was also a great success with a little more than $3,000 raised.

The chocolate drive fundraising is underway and hopefully everyone has almost sold their box.  If each family is able to sell at least one box of chocolates the school will raise in excess of $3,500.  If you would like a second box please contact the office.

Of the funds raised so far, the PA has donated $1,000 toward the purchase of new interschool sports uniforms.  Once plans for the playground renewal are finalised the PA will be making a large contribution towards that.

To help raise these funds the PA need helpers for a couple for upcoming events.

  • For the Mother’s Day stall helpers are required on the day for the stall.
  • For the Adult Fundraising Night event helpers are needed to:
    • Organise decorating the room on the night.
    • Organise donations from local businesses and set up the silent auctions.
    • Run the photobooth.
  • For the Colour Fun Run, we would like to fundraise without using an external company.  To do that volunteers to do the following are required:
    • Help coordinate and organise the event.
    • Advertising and promotion.
    • Looking after and ordering prizes.
    • Collecting donations.

If you are willing to take on one of these tasks and help make this years’ events a success the please contact Stefan on 0411 519 503.

The calendar of PA events for the year is below.
