Merry Christmas

Christmas 'Yarn Bomb'

The Mt Eliza Chamber of Commerce, which is the local traders association, enlisted the help of anyone who can knit or crochet, or even make pom poms ... to install 'Yarn Bombs' on the trunks of the Village street trees in a Christmas theme!! This was a fun project, which generated community participation, and the festive spirit within our staff and students.

We were allocated two trees which are located outside the ANZ bank and The Girl and Bull restaurant.  It was great to see the many talents of our staff and students who came together to knit, crochet and sew our creations for everyone to enjoy.  In fact we had so much left over that we were also able to decorate our own tree outside the entrance to the school as well.

Thank you to staff Ms Heidi Lockyer, Mrs Laura Collard, Mrs Irene Treadwell, Mrs Marcia Claringbold, Mrs Karin Hall, Mrs Ros Williams and Mrs Lynn Swannell, as well as the Year 8 students Belle, Nikola, Olivia and Emily who all contributed.
