Difficult Conversations

When interacting with each other, our scholars, our own families it is important to see things through the other person's perspective. This will help us when trying to determine why they did something that may not make any sense to us. Looking at things through someone else's viewpoint will help us understand but it should not end there. We may still not know fully understand or know why.  In order to do so simply talking to the other person can shed so much light. Without this important conversation we may assume a different intention altogether.

Doing this in the work place can be uncomfortable but if we take the time to value each other as individuals, whose voices matter, we will continue to grow and build on our trust and committment to our daily work with our scholars.
