National Support Staff Week
National Support Staff Week
Last week we celebrated the contribution our Educational Support
staff make to our school team.
We would like to thank our ES staff for the continuous support they
provide our students, staff and community.
PMP Week 6
We had another fantastic week during PMP.
Thank-you to all our Year 5/6 helpers for their
support and to our community members and parents that participated in the session.
Stay tuned for further PMP dates for Term 4.
On Thursday our Year 3/4 classes participated in an Ecolinc incursion as part of an introduction to their next Integrated Studies topic; Minibeasts. The students engaged in small group activities looking at various animals such as, frogs, lizards and stick insects. Each group learned about the lifecycle of each animal, their habitat and the contribution the animal makes to the ecosystem.
The children were also lucky enough to touch some of the animals.
Thank-you to Mrs Riddoch for organising such a great interactive educational session for our students.
Congratulations to this years Book Week Award Winners
Pink Day for Maria
Thank-you to all staff and students for making the ‘Pink Day’ for Maria such a success. With your support and donations, we were able to raise a total of $560! Maria's elderly parents will have immediate financial
relief and will be sent a clear message that their daughter is very much valued for her skill set and her warm relationship with the students,
volunteers and staff. What a wonderful and touching community effort!
