Kindergarten are “Travelling” Well

Our Kindergarten students are more familiar with class routines now and are making some great progress. We love the way so many of the children are forming lovely friendships with their peers.

It was also so wonderful to hear that we even have some Kindergarten students talking about the most effective way to add numbers in Maths.

A highlight of the last few weeks was our visit from Steve (“Gumnuts”) who educated the students about how to travel safely on a bus and be safe near roads. Students from SC1 and SC2 joined Kindergarten for this incursion and all the students were very engaged in this learning. The students were able to board the bus and practise sitting in a safe manner. This was a great experience for when we travel by bus to go on an excursion next term.

The Early Stage 1 team wishes you and your children a relaxing holiday. Don’t forget to snuggle up and read books with your beautiful children.
