JET Program Seminar

JET Program Seminar

Mr Dan Hagan visited the Year 9 Japanese Class to present his personal experience of The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme.  This project's aim is to promote grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other nations.

Mr Hagan talked about his time in Japan including communication, how he spent time with local teachers and students and places where he went, such as Hiroshima and Osaka.  He shared personal photos outlining his experience with Year 9 students studying Japanese.

He talked about martial arts like Japanese archery,  fencing and noh, traditional Japanese performance.

On behalf of the Japanese department and students studying Japanese, a big thank you goes to Mr Hagan for his time.
